The two-dimensional model being developed by Flood Control District 10 will provide information about the direction high water will take and how fast it will move, something existing one-dimensional models can't do. Mike Dimmick, Flood Control District #10 Manager and Michael Schubert, water resources engineer and hydraulic modeler with HDR, will explain the technology and discuss the way the new tool will impact local decision making. Bring your lunch. We'll be in the Marion Bingham Room on the 3rd floor. The program starts at 11:45.
